Welcome to Isla Nycta.

Video crafted by long time community and management staff member Cravey.

This is Isla Nycta, home of the Nyctatyrannus. With a community 50,000 strong, we host servers across a variety of dinosaur survival games, including Path of Titans, The Isle, and Ark: Survival Ascended. Our servers boast dynamic gameplay in a world fleshed out with rules and profiles meant to increase immersion while protecting players from unnatural behaviors such as mixed megapacks, overpacking, and random acts of mass-carnage.

Welcome Home.

What You Can Expect

  • Nycta is home to a friendly, close-knit community of both longtime members and newcomers. It’s a welcoming place where dinosaur enthusiasts can connect, make friends, and feel at home. Our inviting community is what truly makes Nycta special and is the heart of what we do.

New to the server? Feel free to ping our @Nycta Guide role to find one of our experienced members to play with. They can introduce you to the game you’re interested in picking up and get your up to speed with our rules and profiles.

  • Each game we host is supported by an active, dedicated staff team of moderators and admins, backed by our Head Admin and Management team to keep things running smoothly. We make decisions by relying on clear information and evidence, making sure every member of our community is treated fairly.

If there are ever concerns about the conduct of our staff team, please approach one of our management members so that we can hear your concerns and investigate appropriately.

  • Item description
  • For games that support mod developers, we keep a close eye on what’s new and emerging from different creator teams. We focus on introducing new mods between official updates, and generally look for mods that feel like a good fit for our server environments. From new dinosaurs and skins to custom objects, these additions help keep our servers feeling fresh and enjoyable for our community throughout the year.

  • Community feedback plays a large role in our decision making process at Nycta. If something isn’t working for our community members, we want to hear it so that we can make your experience better. Decisions revolving around rules, profiles, events, and the mods we introduce are all driven by feedback that we gather through discussions and polls in our community.
